Outpatient Adult Services

North Suffolk’s outpatient counseling centers provide psychiatric and medication services, counseling, and therapy to adults experiencing emotional difficulties, mental illness, or other challenges to daily living. To make an appointment for yourself or a loved one, please call one of our clinics. Urgent Care walk-in services are available at our Community Behavioral Health Center Monday through Sunday.

Health care professionals should call 888-294-7802 to refer a patient from a hospital,
residential program or detox.

Adult Community Clinical Services

The ACCS Program assists more than 450 adults diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness who have been referred by the Department of Mental Health and are in need of support for their recovery efforts.

Community Support Program

CSP (Community Support Program) provides intensive case management services to clients with psychiatric or substance abuse disorders who are considered to be at risk in the community. These supportive services are directed towards adults and children and vary according to duration and intensity depending on the changing needs of the each individual.

Day Treatment Programs

Conexions day treatment program provides structured, short-term day and evening treatment to adults recovering from mental illness and addictions at the East Boston Counseling Center. Conexions also provides services in Spanish and Vietnamese.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Outpatient Clinical Services

The Deaf Services Program provides fully accessible, psychiatric and counseling services for people who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing at the Freedom Trail Clinic.

Southeast Asian Adult Therapy & Treatment Services

The Southeast Asian Community Clinic provides the range of psychiatric day treatment, outpatient counseling, therapy, and medication services, community outreach and rehabilitation services. The Cambodian Clinic is located at the Revere Counseling Center, and the Vietnamese Clinic and day treatment is located at the East Boston Counseling Center.

Research

North Suffolk Community Services supports and participates in research, and collaborates with other institutions with the goal of improving the quality of care we provide to the people we serve.
