Residential Clinical Coordinator
As the Residential Clinical Coordinator, you will report to the Residential Program Director and/or Assistant Residential Program Director. Under their supervision, the Residential Clinical Coordinator leads the ICGLE in the assessment, treatment planning and service delivery processes and is responsible for determining persons’ need for rehabilitative services.
The Residential Clinical Coordinator oversees the development of the persons’ treatment plan and subsequent reviews and revisions to ensure the goals, objectives and interventions reflect the Clinical Formulation-Interpretive Summary and the prioritized assessed needs. Services are provided based on Recovery tenets and are aimed to promote overall health and well-being of persons served.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9a-5p. This position is located in Chelsea, MA.
Expectations of the role:
- Provides team leadership, clinical supervision and guidance to direct care staff.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Safety Plans and Crisis prevention and Response Plans in order to help prevent and mitigate risk factors.
- Assist people with psychiatric and substance use disorders to identify personal priorities, preferences, strengths, and interests in order to help them establish goals that support a life in recovery.
- Setting life goals in school, work, health, and relationships.
- Teaching strategies for symptom management.
- Engaging with family to assist them in supporting the client as they develop those skills.
- Advocate for better access to public services and natural supports for persons in order to facilitate their recovery and full integration into the community.
- All other duties as assigned by the Residential Program Director/ Assistant Residential Program Director.
What you’ll need:
- Education/Licensure:LPHA designation that is recognized under Massachusetts law is required.
- Experience:Previous experience in the provision of clinical or rehabilitative services to adults with chronic and persistent mental health issues and/or substance use disorders preferred. Previous supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
- Skills:Must have a valid driver’s license. Must be MAP certified and CPR/1st aide certified within the first three months of hire (training provided)
