As the Residential Clinical Coordinator, you will report to the Residential Program Director and/or Assistant Residential Program Director.  Under their supervision, the Residential Clinical Coordinator leads the ICGLE in the assessment, treatment planning and service delivery processes and is responsible for determining persons’ need for rehabilitative services.

The Residential Clinical Coordinator oversees the development of the persons’ treatment plan and subsequent reviews and revisions to ensure the goals, objectives and interventions reflect the Clinical Formulation-Interpretive Summary and the prioritized assessed needs. Services are provided based on Recovery tenets and are aimed to promote overall health and well-being of persons served.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 9a-5p.

Expectations of the role:

  • Provides team leadership, clinical supervision and guidance to direct care staff.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of Safety Plans and Crisis prevention and Response Plans in order to help prevent and mitigate risk factors.
  • Assist people with psychiatric and substance use disorders to identify personal priorities, preferences, strengths, and interests in order to help them establish goals that support a life in recovery.
  • Setting life goals in school, work, health, and relationships.
  • Teaching strategies for symptom management.
  • Engaging with family to assist them in supporting the client as they develop those skills.
  • Advocate for better access to public services and natural supports for persons in order to facilitate their recovery and full integration into the community.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Residential Program Director/ Assistant Residential Program Director.

What you’ll need:

  • Education/Licensure: LPHA designation that is recognized under Massachusetts law is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the provision of clinical or rehabilitative services to adults with chronic and persistent mental health issues and/or substance use disorders preferred.  Previous supervisory experience preferred, but not required.
  • Skills: Must have a valid driver’s license. Basic computer skills (word processor, email, Excel). Familiarity with electronic health records software (e.g. Ehana), treatment plan planning and clinical Assessments. Must be MAP certified and CPR/1st aide certified within the first three months of hire (training provided)

The Residential Program Director is a unique position within the North Suffolk Mental Health Association in that it requires both administrative and nursing skills to effectively manage a group home of four residents with complex psychiatric and medical needs. This position oversees the day to day functioning of the group home, provides supervisory support to a team of direct care staff and an RN who assists in all medical facets of the program, and provides medical expertise in the management of residents’ symptoms and treatment.

Salary: $70,000- $83,584 a year based on experience.

Qualifications:
Education/Licensure: LPHA licensure required: R.N. Preferred, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LRC, LADC1, M.D., Registered Occupational Therapist or licensed Psychologist
Experience: At least 5 years experience in the provision of clinical or rehabilitative services to adults with chronic and persistent mental health issues and substance use disorders preferred. At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

The Assistant Program Manager 3 is a member of the Integrated Team of the Adult Community Clinical Services Program. The Assistant Program Manager reports to the Program Manager. Under the administrative supervision of the Program Manager, and the clinical supervision of the Clinical Coordinator, this position is responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of the assigned residential program. The  Assistant Program Manager is fully integrated into the integrated team and provides supervision and guidance to the GLE staff’s efforts to provide direct care and treatment planning interventions. The Assistant Program Manager III will supervise a minimum of nine to twelve bed program, under the direction of the Program Manager III

  • Supervises and participates in the housekeeping and maintenance of the program and vehicle.
  • Completes all necessary weekly/monthly report and teach NSMHA trainings to newly hired employees.
  • Performs on call duties as required.
  • Monitor medications in accordance with MAP regulations.
  • Work is primarily sedative, however off-site travel is required to attend meetings, persons appointments, trainings, etc.
  • All other duties as assigned by the Program Manager, Residential Services Coordinator/Director.

What you’ll need:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.

Experience: Human Services experience, specifically  with population that has severe and persistent mental illness and/or substance use disorder. One year supervisory experience required.

Skills: Computer literacy required. Must obtain Massachusetts MAP within five (5) continuous months of hire (training provided). Must complete CPR/First Aid certification during orientation (training provided). Valid Mass driver’s license required.
