Weekend Floaters are part-time (16 hours per week) positions, responsible for providing weekend coverage in a residential home setting; in either a Direct Support Professional or Awake Overnight capacity. During their assigned hours, floaters must be willing, and able, to work at any residential program at short notice. Floaters may be hired to work at either Mental Health or Developmental Disability residential programs. Access to reliable transportation is required, to ensure the floater’s ability to travel to different sites quickly and efficiently.

Residential direct support staff are members of a team, responsible for providing high quality direct care services to adults with mental illness. Each direct support staff member is responsible for ensuring that the human rights of all individuals served are met. Staff are responsible for treating all individuals with dignity and respect. Direct support staff are responsible for supporting individuals in the completion of their daily routines; and for ensuring persons served live a safe, healthy, enjoyable life in the community. Direct support staff are responsible for ensuring that individuals are provided with opportunities to learn and exercise, increasing independence as much as is practicable.

High school diploma or GED required. Three years related experience, providing child care/elder care/direct support to developmentally disabled persons, or previous experience supporting individuals in a mental health/special education or other human services setting is required. An equivalent combination of education and related work experience may be considered. Must be MAP certified, CPR/First Aid certified within five (5) continuous months of employment/date of hire.

Requirements:

High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred. One (1) to two (2) years human services experience with similar population preferred. Must have Driver’s license. Must be MAP certified, CPR/1st aide within five (5) months of hire.

Salary:  $16/hour

Three Shifts Available:

Overnight – Sat-Sun 11pm-7am
Day – Sat-Sun 7am-3pm
Evening – Sat-Sun 3pm-11pm

Job Information

The Awake/Asleep Overnight Counselor is responsible for the safety and well-being of individuals in a residential setting during overnight shifts. Provides assistance to individuals based on their need, and adheres to all agency policies and procedures and licensing/funding source requirements.  Be awake/asleep (dependent on need), and available to individuals during overnight shift.  During awake hours, check in with staff, individuals who are awake and complete a walk-through of the program.  During the week, wake individuals up for day program, assist with showering and dressing for the day.  Monitor and insure health and safety of individuals. Perform household maintenance and upkeep activities as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High School degree or GED required
  • Zero to six months human services experience with similar population preferred
  • Must have valid Driver’s license
  • Must be MAP certified, CPR/First Aid certified within five(5) months of hire.

Title Behavioral Specialist – DS

Job Information

The Behavioral Specialist helps to support individuals and staff in the Developmental Services Department. This person will assist the Clinical Coordinator/ Clinical Manager with day to day person centered clinical services provided to individuals. This person may also be responsible for training staff around clinical matters and Positive Behavior Supports and Person Centered Planning. They will work in a team environment to help individuals increase adaptive skills and behaviors, while decreasing maladaptive behaviors. This person may also help create and complete documents for a variety of topics including assessments and behavior. This person will be report to the Clinical Manager.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED, Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, education, or a related field strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working with individuals who have Developmental Disabilities, and other disorders
  • Knowledge of ABA and Positive Behavior Support
  • Must have valid driver’s license and personal vechicle

The Awake Overnight Counselor is responsible for the safety and well-being of persons in a residential setting (MH or DS) during overnight shifts. Provide assistance to persons based on need level of persons, and adheres to all agency policies and procedures and licensing/funding source requirements.  The Awake Overnight Counselor is awake and available to consumers during the entire overnight shift.  Performs household maintenance and upkeep activities as assigned by supervisor. Performs security checks and document, on an hourly basis to ensure safety of consumers and facility.  Performs basic data collection, data entry, and tallying of information with respect to IAP goals and objectives, and protocol.

Counselors may be hired to work at either Mental Health or Developmental Disability residential programs

 

Job Requirements:

  • High school degree or GED required, Bachelor’s in related field preferred
  • One (1) year human services experience with similar population required
  • Must be or have the ability to become medication, SFA and CPR certified after training provided
  • Must have valid Driver’s license. Must be MAP certified, CPR/First Aid certified within five(5) months of hire.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of an assigned residential program, as well as the overall health and safety of the persons residing there, under the supervision of the Residential Services Coordinator.  Insures that day to day operations of the assigned group home program are grounded in the philosophy and techniques of psychiatric rehabilitation.  Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff.  Arrange staff schedules.  Supervises the development and implementation of Quality Indicators through the IAP process.  Liaison with families/guardians, DMH and other service providers.  Perform on-call duties as required.  Provide best-practice procedures, treatments, and approaches which help persons with psychiatric disabilities achieve their goals

 

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred. Two (2) years experience in human services and supervisory experience required. Previous experience with provision and/or management of psychiatric rehabilitation services preferred. Must have Driver’s license. Must be MAP certified, CPR/first aide certified within five (5) continuous months of employment/date of hire.
