This member of the Recovery Support Team is responsible for assisting the programmatic and administrative aspects of a residential program under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and/or Residential Service Coordinator. Assist in recruiting, training and evaluating staff.  Assist in arranging staff schedules to meet the health and safety requirements of the program.  Assist in the development and implementation of Quality Indicators through the IAP process.  Assist with families/guardians, DMH and other service providers.  Perform on-call duties as required.  Provide best-practice procedures, treatments, and approaches which help persons with psychiatric disabilities achieve their goals.  Supervises and participates in the housekeeping and maintenance of the house and vehicle.  Monitors medications in accordance with MAP regulations.

High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.  Must be MAP certified, CPR/first aide certified within five (5) continuous months of employment/date of hire.   One (1) year experience in human services and supervisory experience required. Must have Driver’s license.

The Program Director of the Intensive Group Living Environment  is responsible for overall management of the program as well as the overall health and safety of the persons residing there.  The Program Director insures that day to day operations of assigned group home program are grounded in the philosophy and techniques of psychiatric rehabilitation, including but not limited to:  Communicating with persons with psychiatric disabilities in order to develop a collaborative relationship; instilling hope by engaging in positive interactions regarding a person’s potential for recovery from a psychiatric disability; Emphasizing choices for persons with psychiatric disabilities to help them achieve their goals; Providing practical and meaningful activities to persons with psychiatric disabilities to live in the environment of their choice; Advocating that persons with psychiatric disabilities need to make informed choices to further their own recovery; Assisting persons with psychiatric disabilities to identify personal priorities, preferences, strengths and interests in order to help them establish goals that are consistent with their worldview; Providing interventions for change for persons with psychiatric disabilities in order to promote the recovery process; Encouraging persons with psychiatric disabilities to continue fulfillment of desired roles; Encouraging the integration of persons with psychiatric disabilities in social and community activities to help them achieve their goals. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with North Suffolk’s policies and applicable laws.  Supervises the development and implementation of Quality Indicators through the IAP process and Program Goals.  Performs on-call duties as required.  Provide best-practice procedures, treatments, and approaches which help persons with psychiatric disabilities achieve their goals.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling required.  LICSW, LMHC, or ability to become licensed preferred. Experience working in both group living environments for people with psychiatric diagnoses and in psychiatric in-patient units preferred.. Must be MAP certified, and CPR/first aide certified within five (5) continuous months of employment/date of hire. At least four (4) years’ experience in human services and four (4) years supervisory experience required. Previous experience with provision and/or management of psychiatric rehabilitation services preferred.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for the health, safety and quality of life of persons in an intensive group living environment at the ELMHC through the provision of person centered/recovery oriented interventions.  The Shift Supervisor assists with supervisory responsibilities in accordance with North Suffolk policies and procedures.  The Shift Supervisor participates in data and reporting, medication administration, and follows all licensing standards and rehabilitation options.  Coordinates and supervises evening/overnight shifts.  Provides support and interventions that are grounded in the philosophy and techniques of psychiatric rehabilitation and performs case management duties.

Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred. Experience working in both group living environments for people with psychiatric diagnoses and in psychiatric in-patient units preferred. At least three (3) years experience in human services required and management experience in human services preferred. Previous experience with provision and/or management of psychiatric rehabilitation services preferred.  Must have valid Massachusetts driver’s license.  Must be MAP certified, CPR/ First Aid certified within five (5) months of hire.

The Awake Overnight Counselor is responsible for the safety and well-being of persons in a residential setting during overnight shifts.  Provide assistance to persons based on need level of persons, and adheres to all agency policies and procedures and licensing/funding source requirements.  The Awake Overnight Counselor is awake and available to consumers during the entire overnight shift.  Performs household maintenance and upkeep activities as assigned by supervisor. Performs security checks and document, on an hourly basis to ensure safety of consumers and facility.  Performs basic data collection, data entry, and tallying of information with respect to IAP goals and objectives, and protocol sheets.

Requirements:
High school degree or GED required. Bachelor’s in related field preferred. One (1) year human services experience with similar population required. Must be or have the ability to become medication, SFA and CPR certified after training provided. Must have valid Driver’s license. Must be MAP certified, CPR/First Aid certified within five(5) months of hire.

Case Managers are responsible for the health, safety and quality of life of persons in an intensive group living environment through the provision of person centered/recovery oriented interventions.  Supervise and/or support residents, in the areas of activities of daily living, socialization, use of leisure time and community integration.  Assist persons with psychiatric disabilities in the development of their IAPs.  Provide rehabilitation and supportive interventions that are based in the persons’ IAPs.  Provides support and interventions that are grounded in the philosophy and techniques of psychiatric rehabilitation.  Schedule or assist persons in scheduling routine and preventive medical appointments and obtain and disseminate all reports to appropriate team member.  Administer medications in accordance with MAP regulations.  Participate in upkeep and maintenance of program, including cleaning of the facility.

High school degree or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field preferred.  At least three (3) years human services experience with similar population required. Must have valid Massachusetts Driver’s license.  Must be MAP certified, CPR/ First Aid certified within five (5) months of hire.
