Reports to the Program Director, Assistant Program Director or the Clinical Manager.  Coordinate and provide early intervention services and treatment to child and child/family clients using team approach, in home, program, or other community settings, which are identified as clients’ natural environments for individuals and groups.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Master’s degree in Child Life highly preferred or Bachelors in Child Life required.

Title Master’s level Early Intervention Social Worker

We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to work directly with infants and toddlers in an Early Intervention setting.

The Early Intervention Social Worker coordinates and provides early intervention services and treatment to children and child/family clients using a team approach.  The Early Intervention Social Worker works with children in home, program, or other community settings, which are identified as clients’ natural environments for individuals and groups.  Facilitate and participate in the development and execution of IFSP (Individualized Family Service Plan).  Work as part of a team to meet the needs of infants, toddlers and their families through education, advocacy, support, and family resources.

Requirements 

Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or Social Work required.  LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or LMHC eligible required.  Either be or ability to become Early Intervention certified with DPH. Valid Massachusetts Driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle needed.

Title Occupational Therapist
