Title Clinical Manager – CBFS

Title Training Director

The Training Director is an exciting opportunity to oversee the development of training curriculums and coordination all activities related to trainings, trainers and trainees.  This position is also responsible for the management for the Training Center site.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Including:

 

  1. Oversee the development of all curriculums used for NSMHA trainings. Review and update current curriculums.
  2. Design quarterly training booklets and flyers.
  3. Oversee the implementation of all training curriculums. This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling trainings and trainers, preparing the space with appropriate materials and equipment, and providing support (as needed) to trainers.
  4. Provide back-up (as a trainer) for trainings – (as appropriate) Orientation, first aid/cpr NAPPI, and driver safety.
  5. Oversee the coordination of all activities related to the CEU application process – approve all internal applications, submit applications, track participation, etc.
  6. Recruit trainers; provide 1:1 orientation for all new trainers; facilitate trainer’s meetings and schedule/confirm trainers.
  7. Liaison with external organizations for trainings. This includes the purchasing of supplies, completion of registrations, collection and dissemination of certificates, and the scheduling of trainers courses.
  8. In conjunction with the MAPS trainer, coordinate all activities related to MAPS testing.       This includes the mailing of applications, providing participants with test dates, obtaining testing results, and the dissemination of certificates or other related documentation. Ensure all curriculums and materials are up-to-date.
  9. Oversee all processes related to the registration and cancellation of participants.
  10. Coordinate the dissemination of information regarding all external trainings and conferences.
  11. Supervise and assign all activities of the Training Administrative Assistant.
  12. Review, approve and submit all purchasing, maintenance and it requests for the site.
  13. Provide support and back-up for the Training database relative to entering and printing reports.
  14. Manage all training center purchasing and petty cash usage.
  15. Participate as a member of the agency’s Safety Committee.
  16. Participate in national, state and local organizations to maintain state of the art knowledge and skills; contributing to the field through research and development.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree with three (3) year’s experience in human resources.   A minimum of 1 year of training experience. A minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
