This position is responsible for the management of our Outpatient programs Electronic Health Record (E.H.R.) application, with a focus on expanding the role to our agency wide E.H.R system. This work includes managing day to day administrative tasks under E.H.R. such as giving access to new users; train new and current users in using the E.H.R. application, on demand generate reports from E.H.R. database, be hands on with any upgrades to the system. Assist in the process of evaluating software packages before the systems go “live”. This position reports to the Director of Applications and Data Management; and

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
BBA, BA or BS in Computer Science or similar field. At least two years experience. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite of applications. Familiarity with statistical analysis. Must have strong knowledge of any database reporting tool, ie. Crystal Reports, ReportSmith, SQL Reporting Services, MS Access, MS Excel and MS Word. This person must possess very strong organizational skills, keep excellent documentation and have attention to detail.

Title Clinical Manager – CBFS

This position is responsible for the overall clinical services functioning of the CBFS Residential Services, and the quality of such services as assigned under the supervision of the Director of Residential Services and/ or Residential Service Coordinator. This position is responsible for providing direct clinical leadership, and clinical supervision and training to the Clinical Coordinators and management staff, and overseeing the same level of services for the direct service staff.

This position plays a major role in the ongoing overall training of the residential department’s Clinical Coordinator’s development and implementation of rehabilitative techniques, protocols/strategies and positive behavioral supports.  Responsible for guiding the use of best practice strategies such as motivational interviewing, recovery and ensuring a focus on person centered treatment and positive behavioral supports. This position supervises interns within the CBFS residential department.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s Degree with a minimum of six (6) years experience in the provision of behavioral/clinical/educational services, four (4) of which should be post-grauate
  • Knowledge of DMH
  • Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation philosophy and techniques required

  • Assist with the preparation of the new employee orientation process.
  • Coordinate, maintain, and distribute descriptive literature and information regarding benefit eligibility, open enrollment, COBRA, unemployment, and all other HR related matters.
  • Process requests and maintaining tracking system for Tuition Reimbursement and Vacation Buyback.
  • Process all outside requests for verification of employment in a responsive and timely manner.
  • Maintain and ensure that all personnel files are up-to-date (including all new hires, status changes and terminations) for all active and inactive employees.
  • Maintain all of the inactive, as well as active, files; such as, terminated benefits, trainings, I-9 information, and other HR related documents.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: At least 1-2 years of previous administrative/office experience
Education: High School degree or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.

Job Description

North Suffolk Mental Health Association is seeking an energetic, full-time, entry level Data Analyst with experience working with large and complex sets of healthcare data that must be detail oriented with strong analytical, communication, critical thinking and math skills. The Analyst will report to the Director of Compliance and Quality Management and will interact closely with internal and external managers/constituents to define projects and detailed analysis plans and reporting systems that will help guide business decisions.  The Analyst will support the current SQL database system and will conduct research on software applications that would support the Agency to be more efficient with data and outcomes collection and reporting.  The Analyst must possess very strong organizational skills, maintain excellent documentation, and have experience with interpreting and presenting data to senior and executive level managers.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements data collection process and reporting activities.
  • Receives, stores, merges and cleans data sets of varying size and complexity, preparing data for analyses.
  • Works closely with the Directors of Accounts Payable and Applications and Data Management with reporting and analyzing data from the electronic health record and health care claims databases.
  • Coordinates migration and import of data from stand-alone databases to the Client Central system.
  • Oversees maintenance and expansion of Agency databases.
  • Works with clinical staff, administrators and managers to support the implementation of outcomes tools and quality reporting measures as required by state and federal funders.
  • Provides detailed descriptions of analyses and findings for funding proposals, grants, compliance deliverables, and quality initiatives.
  • Facilitates, interprets and presents data to various levels of management.
  • Represents the Agency on external data-related workgroups or committees, as needed.
  • Actively seeks new knowledge of methods for data management and analysis to increase quality and compliance measures.
  • Assures integrity of data through system audits, staff training, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required in Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science or a similar discipline with a minimum of two years’ experience managing databases and conducting data analysis. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Access, Excel, SQL, Outlook, Crystal Reports, and PowerPoint.
  • Advanced skills in statistical analysis of healthcare data, performance measurement, business intelligence and evaluation.
  • Database management skills, specifically Microsoft Access, SQL server, or comparable environment.
  • Must be comfortable formulating and implementing statistical analysis plans of moderate complexity.
  • Ability to work independently and to set priorities while managing several projects simultaneously; strong attention to detail is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Cooperates and maintains good rapport with all levels of staff, inter-program departments, vendors, and community leaders.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Program Coordinator for the MH Residential Services program is responsible for the clinical and administrative aspects of two assigned residential programs, as well as the overall health and safety of the persons residing there, under the supervision of the Residential Services Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will oversee two residential group homes.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Insures that day to day operations of the assigned group home programs are grounded in the philosophy and techniques of psychiatric rehabilitation.
  • Advocate that persons with psychiatric disabilities need to make informed choices to further their own recovery
  • Develop linkages with a wide range of community resources specific to meet the needs and goals of persons with psychiatric disabilities.
  • Recruit, train, supervise, evaluate, and facilitate progressive discipline as needed for all staff. Arrange staff schedules.
  • Supervises the development and implementation of Quality Indicators through the IAP process and Program Goals.
  • Participates in the development of the program budgets, and monitors the program expenses.
  • Completes all necessary weekly/monthly reports.
  • Monitor medications in accordance with MAP regulations
  • Teach NSMHA trainings to newly hired employees
  • Insures the programs and person records are current, comprehensive and meet agency and funding source standards

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Six (6) years experience in human services and supervisory experience required. Previous experience with provision and/or management of psychiatric rehabilitation services preferred.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred. Knowledge of rehabilitative approaches to the treatment of individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
